Screenshots can be faked... and that is mine which I don't think can be faked - 49% (overclock MHz divided by stock MHz). That was on air cooling of course which isn't really recommended ;) Stock CPU-Z below.

Are you going for just balls-out overclocking that worked long enough to benchmark/screenshot or overclocking that you run 24-7?

DAM!!!!! that is a hell of overclock 0skills. I did not think a D class would go that high
well with out some out this world water cooling..... good job

And your right about the fake stuff....I will go back and do the validation thing and post it.
After thinking about it we will do both...A MAX and A 24-7 but what ever it is it has to be overclocked

My overclocking run didn't last very long. That friggen thing ran so damned hot and I don't have temps from the overclock saved anywhere that I can remember. Windows would run fine with that OC but the stress testing apps would come up with errors all the time. It's kinda dumb because my P5B board killed itself while I was trying to find settings that would get me near 4GHz without errors in orthos or occt - i forget. No way was I going to run it 24/7 on air though and the mobo was RMA'd and got a new one just fine :)

I ran mine like this for about a year:

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=601340

--------------------------------------------

This is the highest I got before the CPU temperature went a little bit beyond my confort zone. I probably could go higher but doing this really isn't worth the risk. I logged into XP to do this since it booted faster. For whatever reason it started reporting my processor without the X in QX9650. But if you look at the specification it's my processor. Not sure why it validated with that error.

Test 1:

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=601382

Test 2:

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=601407

Test 3:

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=601418

Just for shits and giggles this is the lowest the processor allows:

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=601337

The processor is air-cooled.

I only upped mine a little but It's been running like this for about a year. I just wanted to see if it would work and just left it alone after that.

Around 60C/140F, Core=1.6V. Clocked at 4GHz it stays around 27C/80F - 35C/95F.

I did, however, take it down to 3.2ghz which is where im at now, because i really don't notice a difference in anything else i do at 3.8. Actually just for fun i had it at 4.2Ghz, but that was just overkill and didn't need it.

and this was just nuts, and wouldn't even get past the windows loading screen.
